Third Party Outpatient Collection System (TPOCS)
The Third Party Outpatient Collection System (TPOCS) enables the collection, tracking,
and reporting of data required for the outpatient billing process. Revenue collected
from TPOCS is sent directly from the insurance company to the MTF. The money is
non-appropriated and must be used to enhance health care at the MTF (e.g. training,
purchasing equipment, and continuing education). TPOCS maintains automated interfaces
with the Composite Health Care System (CHCS) and Ambulatory Data Module (ADM). These
interfaces improve data quality by reducing manual entry and providing automated data
validation.
